This auction features an updated Compaq Evo N620c with 1.4 GHz Pentium M Centrino processor that is ready to surf the Internet with a wireless PCMCIA card. This unit features a XGA resolution monitor supporting resolutions up to 1024 x 768. The Evo N620c Centrino processor is a newer processor which runs faster and cooler than the Pentium 4 M processor on the Evo N610c. The Compaq Evo N620c is much faster than the Compaq Evo N400c, N410c, and N600c models, and comparable in speed to the Compaq Evo N610c model. A Compaq Evo N620c with the same clock speed as its sister Evo N610c should also be significantly faster due to its newer processor - this 1.4 GHz Pentium M machine should compare favorably with Evo N610c units running 2.0 GHz Pentium 4 M processors. In addition, the Compaq Evo N620c Pentium M processor runs cooler than its Pentium 4 M cousin and significantly extends battery life. This unit is physically clean and in good condition; the LCD works well and looks good with no visible imperfections; the LCD bezel has had some paint touch up, but it is purely cosmetic and does not affect LCD operation. The LCD itself is bright and clear. Since the unit is used, there are the normal signs of use on the unit; there are a few scratches here and there, but none of these issues impact functionality of the unit at all. The unit has a 20 GB hard drive installed and tested; don't get caught short with a smaller or untested hard drive. The unit includes a DVD-ROM drive that is fully functional. You can play your favorite DVDs when you travel with this unit!! This is a nice laptop for kids, college students, gamers, mobile professionals, or as a traveler for the family. This is a portable sized (5.5 lbs.) work-horse notebook.  The unit does come with an AC adapter so you can power it up right away. The unit comes with a battery which does hold a few minutes of charge (assume 5 minutes) - but we cannot guarantee battery life.
