Secret
Maryo Chronicles
For Nintendo fans, or those
who loved Super Mario, Secret Maryo Chronicles is a solid
remake and adaptation of the classic game.
This is a classic two-dimensional platform
game in the side-scrolling style. The game play measures up
reasonably well with the original. You have the same style
of play as the original game as you scroll from one side of the
screen to the other, jumping over bad guys, getting power ups,
getting all sorts of new weapons.
And if you get bored, there's a nice bonus of a level editor to
create your own game. By pressing F8, you access the level
editor and a whole world of backgrounds, graphics and characters
to create your own Maryo world.
The aim of the game is the same as the
original - collect as many gold coins as possible while
squashing and avoiding baddies along the way. Secret Maryo
Chronicles features a series of extra baddies and challenges
absent from the original that make it slightly harder, but if
you collect 100 coins, you gain an extra life.
Its a great take on a great classic game from years gone by.
Relive the magic all over again in this very familiar tale.

TORCS
RACING
TORCS is a car racing
simulation game. TORCS features more than 50
different cars, more than 20 tracks, and 50
opponents to race against. Each opponent has
their own style of racing and driving that you can
learn how to defend against.
Joysticks are supported, so are steering wheels!
It is also possible to drive with the mouse or the
keyboard, although that does not give it the full
effect. Graphics in this game include
lighting, smoke, skid marks and glowing brake disks.
The simulation features a simple damage model,
collisions, tire and wheel properties (springs,
dampers, stiffness, ...), aerodynamics (ground
effect, spoilers, ...) and much more.
The game play allows
different types of races from the simple practice
session up to the championship. Enjoy racing against
your friends in the split screen mode with up to
four human players. Online gaming is not
currently supported, but will be in future updates,
that are free.
TORCS is a great racing game
that is easy to learn and fun to play. It is
realistic and is a great driving game.

the video, as the screen grabbing software was not the best

SuperTuxKart is
a 3D Go Kart Racing Game; they wanted to make the
game fun more than realistic.
You can play with up to 4 friends on one PC, racing
against each other or just try to beat the computer.
(a network multiplayer feature is planned).
See the great lighthouse or
drive through the sand and visit the pyramids. Race
underground or in space, watching the stars passing
by. Have some rest under the palms on the beach
(watching the other karts overtaking you). But don't
eat the bananas! Watch for bowling balls, plungers,

all about team oriented multiplayer fun.
Taking place in
realistic environments, with fast, arcade game play, it's

destruction & ownage. Basically you runaround in all sorts
of labyrinths taking names and kicking some tail, its that
simple. Typically first person shoot 'em up game in the

The Battle for Wesnoth is a
new tactical strategy game with a fantasy theme. Part of
the game is to build great army, gradually turning raw recruits
into hardened veterans. In later games, recall your toughest
warriors and form a deadly host whom none can stand against!

force with the right strengths to fight well on different
terrains against all manner of opposition. It is

Wesnoth has many different storylines waiting to be

Scrabble
Scrabble is a board game where the goal
is to place letters on the playing board like in a crossword. Up
to four players can take part in a game. Each receives a limited
number of letters (usually 7 or 8) each round and then tries to
compose a word using these letters and play it so it connects to
at least one existing word on the board. The value of a move
depends on the letters (rare letters earn more points) and the
bonus fields used, which multiply the value of a letter or the
whole word. The player with most points win once the game has
come to an end.
This program extends the conventional idea of Scrabble with
Scrabble3D - adding a third dimension. Of course classic games
using a 15x15 board or Super scrabble using a 21x21 board can be
played too and you may configure any field setting yourself.
This application allows you to play against the computer, local
players or via the internet.
It is also possible to connect to a game
server to find other players from around to globe and to obtain
a player rating. Most options are configurable, including the
letter number and value, the dictionary used, the interface

interior design program
that helps you place your furniture on a house 2D plan, with a
3D preview. This software allows you to visualize how your
home looks with your furniture in different places around the
room. You can put as much detail as you like and make it
very realistic with the rendering capabilities of this software.
It is fairly intuitive and straightforward to pick up.
You can do things like create different floor plans, move your
furniture around, place shelves and fixtures, locate windows and
different colors, and then get a 3D preview of how it looks.
This is a great tool for the amateur interior designer, a
student, and a pro alike. If you are looking to get into
the business and want an affordable piece of software to allow
your clients to preview your work, this is a good place to
start. If you are just wanting to have some fun to see how
to redecorate your home, this piece of software is for you.

games should run too. To run TORCS the way it was intended to be run, we recommend a decent gaming machine.
While it is possible to run it on slower machine, your results will be better
