Its remarkable durability is evidenced by the number of houses built of Eastern White Pine in New England 200 or more years ago still in existence.

LOG WALL SYSTEM:

  • All the solid 8"X6" random length Eastern White Pine precision milled double T&G logs for the exterior walls (first floor) 8ft Nominal Height, Log Homes Council Graded. (Story and One Half models include log siding for second floor exterior walls, Full Two story models include Solid Logs for exterior walls)
  • All the "Bison" lag screws needed to fasten each log course (optional spiral spikes)
  • All the double row of log course polyfoam insulation sealing tape - “Log Cabin” Log Seal Brand.
  • All the oak joint dowels for butt ends & corner joints.
  • All the “Log Cabin” log caulking for butt and end joints.
  • All the stress engineered 2x conventional roof rafters and collar ties or trusses for the roof system   depending on design, for 30lb roof loading.
  • All the 2X Ridgeboard when required.
  • All the Insulated Natural Wood Double Hung Thermopane Tilt by MW. Treated with Water Repellant wood Preservative. (Low-E).
  • All the (3068) 9 lite over 2-panel or 6 panel metal clad thermo insulated entry doors when by Thermo-Tru® when illustrated.

The Original Log Cabin Homes offers the easiest way in the industry to purchase a log home or cabin. Our log home packages can be secured with as little as a 25% deposit under our 36-month Lay-A-Way agreement. Your deposit protects the terms of the agreement and freezes your log cabin home materials at current prices. This program provides you the option of receiving your delivery anytime up to three years from the date of order.

Advantages of a 25% Deposit

• The 12-Month Lay-A-Way protects the terms of the promotion selected of available log home packages.

• Freezes your purchase price and protects against future price increases for up to 12-Months.

• Provides you the option of taking delivery anytime up to 12 Months from the order date of your log cabin kit. However, The Original Log Cabin Homes ltd requires a minimum of 45 days notice before delivery date.

• Purchaser may make design changes or change home model selection prior to final milling date (minimum 45 days before delivery date) for log home packages.

• Allows you to receive your preliminary blueprints to begin planning, changes and mortgage loans, etc.
