We are a Canadian Company trying to give back to the Indonesian artisans and craftsmen we discover. We import handmade goods made by talented individuals who are trying to find a way to survive by selling their work. We are helping to connect them with North American and Europe markets and establish themselves as successful entrepreneurs. In doing so, we are helping them make a better life for themselves and their families.
Every year, we make donations to Indonesian organizations trying to make a difference in their local communities. This year, we are sponsoring an organization in Yogyakarta helping orphans and homeless children. This organizations gives children a way out of their unbelievably difficult situations by teaching them English and trades skills they can use to survive. We help by delivering day-to-day necessities such as clothing, food, and home appliances. We do not believe in monetary donations, and all of our donations are given directly to the communities we discover along our travels. We do this because we believe we can make a difference and you can make a difference too.
Each year, 10-15% of all our profits are given back to the communities of the businesses we have a pleasure of working with. By buying the homemade works of these gifted artisans and craftsmen, you are not only making a difference in their lives by contributing to their businesses, but you are also making a difference in their local communities.
