ARTIST BIO:
Moshe Katz studied art at the Bezalel Academy of art in Jerusalem, as well as the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts. He recieved second prize in the Israeli Group Artisit show in Haifa in 1959. Exhibits featuring the paintings of the young artisit in the United States have taken place in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Winnetka.
Moshe was born March 2, 1937 in Bucharest, Romania. With his parents he fled from the Nazis and after stops in many countries, reached Israel. His paintings have been displayed by galleries across the country sinse the fall of 1965.
