DEBBIE HART

I am a perpetual child at heart, and have been creating art in various forms since childhood. My brightly-colored, often whimsical folk-art drawings and paintings are inspired by a deep sense of kinship with nature and animals, a vivid imagination, and an affinity for the mystical and magical. I have completed several university-level art courses (roughly equivalent to a minor in art), but I am also largely self-taught.

A few years ago, I quit my high-tech job in Colorado, moved with my sweetheart back to my native northern California, and returned to my lifelong love of creating art. We have since endeavored to make our lives into a "working vacation" as much as possible, living in glorious spots up and down the coast and in the redwoods. We currently live in beautiful Ben Lomond, in the mountains near Santa Cruz, CA. My artwork has sold in art galleries both in northern California and online.
