LOVELY 1889 SLIGHTLY EMBOSSED VICTORIAN EASTER GREETING CARD

SENTIMENT:  HALLOWED BY TIME, IN EVERY CLIME, THE BELLS OF EASTER CHIME.

NOTE:  LILLIES OF THE VALLEY ARE REFERRED TO AS "WHITE CORAL BELLS" AND ALONG WITH THE PUSSY WILLOW, ARE ASSOCIATED WITH EASTER.

REVERSE:  HANDWRITTEN - FROM MR. STANLEY APRIL 21st 1889.

VERY GOOD CONDITION; BUMPED, ROUNDED CORNERS; REVERSE HAS LIGHT GLUE STAINING FROM VICTORIAN SCRAPBOOK REMOVAL (SEE SCAN)
