Vintage French POODLE Hand Towel!!

So Wonderfully Retro - Yellow Terry Cloth & Unused!!!

  This towel is Terry Cloth and I don't believe it was ever used.  I see a few yellow spots but am unsure whether they are part of the pattern.  I love the Vintage style and I purchased this one and several others at an Estate Sale. Some of the towels I am keeping had spots that came out as soon as they were washed so I'm thinking if these are actually spots, they should come right out.  Everything should be visible in the pictures, so you can judge for yourself.  The Cute Little Poodle Towel measures approx. 11" x 18" (fringe included). 

 

I try my best to give what I feel is a good description of condition and I do realize sometimes that my idea of "Excellent/Good/Ok" condition and your idea of "Excellent/Good/Ok" condition might not be quite the same, so Please ask if you have any questions that should be addressed and if you would like more pictures, please send me your email address and I'll be happy to send as many as you'd like.  All items should be considered Used, As Is and in need of cleaning unless otherwise stated in listing.  I am by no means an expert on any subject or item I may sell, so if I make an error in description, please feel free to correct me or add more information on items I may be selling.  I am always learning new things by the amazing people who sell & buy on Ebay!!

SHIPPING INFORMATION

The shipping quote given by the calculator includes a $1 - $1.50 packing fee and if Insurance is included, it will be noted in item description and will reflect as "all inclusive" in the shipping price.  ($1.75 for up to $100 coverage)  I use package tracking to help you know right where your package is however, it is not available for 1st Class International Shipments.  Ocassionally, for whatever reason, the shipping calculations are incorrect - if it is more than quoted, I will take the hit but if it is $1.00 or more in your favor, I will refund the difference.  I apologize but I will not be able to ship International if the item is 4 pounds or more.  Anything over 4 pounds has to be shipped Priority International and the rates are, in my opinion simply outrageous.  If you are willing to pay, then by all means, you are welcome to bid. Please let me know first.  

 

Check the shipping rates BEFORE you bid - if you think they are too high, I might suggest you look to purchase from someone who lives closer to you. Let me explain...


WHY THE COST OF SHIPPING MAY SEEM HIGH

Shipping costs are set by the carriers and are based on weight, size of box and zip codes being used for shipping. Boxes more than a cubic foot in size are also subject to extra surcharges.  I live in Louisiana - the further you live from me, the more the USPS will charge to deliver it to you.  Take a look at the USPS example below.  (This may or may not be the weight of your item, it is just an example weight)
 
A 3 pound package shipped USPS from:
LA to TX - $6.39 Parcel or $6.80 Priority
LA to VA - $9.00 Parcel or $10.35 Priority
LA to WA - $10.69 Parcel or $13.20 Priority

The difference is more than $4 going cross country! Is it worth it? It might be - especially when you consider the cost of time and gas trying to find this item on your own. You have to decide.  
I would LOVE to offer you FREE shipping but I can't since I do this as strictly a hobby.  Just to list on Ebay costs money and every time I turn around it is costing more!!!  There is Ebay's listing fees, Ebay's Final Value Fee (a fee charged to me based on what the item sold for), Paypal's Fees for allowing the transaction to pass thru them and now Ebay's Seller Fees were just raised to also include a fee from the postage paid by the buyer.  It is getting totally ridiculous!!!
 
Now that you understand shipping a little better please be aware:
Sellers are now rated by buyers on shipping charges - I strive to be a 5 star seller so please do not penalize me for the cost of shipping. I do not set the rates.  I agree it can be high, but I have no control over carrier charges.  I work hard to offer unique items and try my best to give good customer service.

Methods of Shipping: Domestic USPS Parcel Post, Priority, Media or 1st Class Mail (if it is 13 oz or less).   There are many times that Priority is cheaper than Parcel so occasionally you may notice that Parcel & Priority are listed as options when you bid but when I send the final invoice you may only see Priority as the option.  I will only do that when PRIORITY IS CHEAPER.  Please also be aware that Parcel Post typically takes longer than buyers like to wait for an item to arrive especially around the holidays. USPS lists delivery as 1st Class (2-3 Days)  Parcel Post (2-9 Days)  Priority (2-3 Days)  Media Mail (2-9 Days or more). I typically ship throughout the week, sometimes including Saturdays.  

 

International shipping method is 1st Class International - PLEASE BE AWARE THAT INSURANCE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR 1ST CLASS INTERNATIONAL.  

International Buyers – Please Note:

    • Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

    • Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

    • These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

    • We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.
