TOH Bottle Rocket Launcher Water 2 Liter Soda Wet & Dry

This is a really fun 2 liter soda bottle rocket launcher. The "ROCKET FUEL" is simply compressed air from an air compressor or a regular bicycle pump. It is the design featured on the This Old House television program, so you know it's engineered for fun and safety. Beware of any bottle launcher you see that uses O rings or launches the bottle from less than an overhead position. If you are bending over the unit and it accidentally launches it could hit you in the face and cause serious injury. This unit is designed for an overhead launch. Even if the bottle goes off by accident it won't harm anyone because all of the pressure will be exerted overhead. That's why this is the safest two liter launcher on ebay.

We took this to the church picnic and had a fabulous time. As the soda bottles were launched the kids ran out and tried to catch them like a football. You can make up games and have a "BLAST" with this toy.

You can customize the bottles by putting fins and a nose cone on them, however, keep in mind that if you make the rocket too aerodynamic, it will go up higher, but, it will come down much faster and be more dangerous. My kids love just using a regular 2 liter bottle. We don't have to worry about it hitting a car or rooftop because it just floats down. I'm telling you this is one really fun toy. You can use it wet or dry. Launching a dry bottle makes a much bigger "POP" but doesn't spray everywhere. Of course, if you ask any kid, especially in the hot summer, the spray is AWESOME!!!!

This unit comes pre-assembled with only one joint that needs to be screwed together. You won't have any gluing, this is not a "kit" but a ready to go toy. You will be ready for launch within minutes of this package arriving at your home.

This is a BYOB item. (Bring Your Own Bottle) In the interest of complete disclosure, some 2 liter bottles work better than others. We have had less luck with some off brands like Sam's, Big K, Cloverleaf, etc. However, Coke and Pepsi products work beautifully as well as most others. This is a safe, fun toy for warm or cold weather fun, boys or girls. Just add air and you have hours of  entertainment.
