About:

Clever classroom was born out of the idea that teachers never have enough time. I’m on leave from teaching full-time (K-6). I worked on K-2 and was always printing & laminating teaching aides that I thought would help the learning process. I have also worked in Long day Care, Preschool, Before and After School Care, Vacation care as well as tutoring both Maths and English. I have qualifications for all of these 0-12 year old settings.

About our Products:

Clever Classroom has designed over 400 resources in all subject areas, classroom organisation, behaviour management and programming.

Fonts:

Most resources are available in NSW Foundation, QLD Beginners Alphabet and VIC Modern Cursive school fonts. You can either request fonts or the font will match the state on your address. Western Australian customers will receive VIC fonts unless otherwise communicated. ACT, SA, NT and TAS customers will receive NSW Foundation font.

Laminated resources are made with 80 micron laminated sheets which are strong and durable and will not peel. Sheets can be cut and will remain together. Bound resources are bound and include a plastic protective sheet on both the back and front. Magnetic resources use sticky magnets which adhere to the back of laminated sheets. CD products always consist of PDF files burnt to CD. Each CD has a smart label made on the Canon Pixma printer and is packaged in a paper sleeve.

Each made resources purchased receives a free gift e.g. certificate, book mark or stickers. Each CD has free files!

Quality Control

Clever Classroom has not had one complaint regarding the quality of products. All laminated and printed resources are checked for any imperfections and again there has not been a complaint or return. If you do observe an unsatisfactory product a replacement will be posted to you immediately.

Design & Copyright:

All Clever Classroom creations are made by me based on my experience as a teacher. Clever Classroom declares the right to prohibit any copying of files amongst others. The customer may use the files and hardcopy resources for themselves and for reproducing for students only.

FAQ

Can I pick up my order?

Yes, orders can be picked up for local customers in the Illawarra area of NSW, we are located in Werri Beach. Please select the contact us option for address details.

Can I visit Mrs. Farrell's Clever Classroom?

All customers are very welcome to visit our home where all teaching resources are made.

Customers can simply contact me to organise an appointment time. Many customers visit when they are on holidays as we are 1 ½ hours south of Sydney.

Do you do digital downloads?

At the moment Clever Classroom does not sell digital items. However, we aim to by mid 2010. Alternatively, you can contact me with a list or files you are after and they will be sent digitally as email attachments. Please not the BIG CDs cannot be emailed.

Do you sell to schools? Do you visit schools?

Clever Classroom welcomes school orders. Every school and its committees have a budget and Clever Classroom will help you to get both great value and quality for your money. We have an ABN and a tax receipt will be supplied. We also do bulk orders for one or a number of resources in store.

If you would like Clever Classroom to visit your school and you are in the Illawarra area please contact me to organise a staffroom visit.

How long should I allow for a custom order?

I usually have a few custom orders going at any one time. To allow ample time for delivery please allow up to 6 days. For the design this will be negotiable depending on the size of the order. Smaller orders allow approximately 3-5 days and larger orders 7-10 days. Different times of the year are busier so please email me at emma@cleverclassroom.com.au as I will aim to fit you in.

How long will postage take?

Please note, these are estimated times only and customers should always allow up to 6 working days.

FAQs

What does adobe mean and where can I get a copy?

Adobe is a program which reads and writes files. All Clever Classroom CD products are in adobe format. You will need at least adobe 6 to open and read the files. Here is a link to a free version http://www.adobe.com/au/ Or Google ‘free adobe reader’.

What does BLM stand for?

BLM is an acronym for Black Line Masters. Which means a BLM is reproducible as it is black and white text for photocopying. These are often used by teachers and are photocopied for the classroom as worksheets or stencils.

Clever Classroom makes BLM's for themes such as natural disaters, the farm, the family, reading, text types , maths BLM and loads more. We sell BLM's as bound books and as PDF files on CD.

Why can’t the CD products come as word for me to modify?

Clever Classroom produces its CD products as adobe PDF files for 2 reasons:

To maintain the originality of each file and its uniqueness to Clever Classroom. When files are transferred to CD on word they tend to jump around. As Clever Classroom produces hundreds of CD’s each month we would need to alter each and every CD, taking potentially hours.

If you would like your products customised send Emma a message via our Customer Orders form. We can alter files to contain individual names, labels or headings. Again this will be presented in PDF format.

Payment:

We accept Pay pal, direct bank deposit, bank cheque or money order.

Please complete payment with 6 days of purchase. A reminder will be sent on the 7^th day. After this time it will be referred to Pay pal resolution centre and thereafter a claim will be made.

If you would like to continue shopping over a few days please send me an ebay message to let me know. A further message once you’re finished shopping would be appreciated so I can combine your invoice and save you some money!

Postage & Delivery

Clever Classroom posts within 24 hours of a confirmed payment. We understand how important it is for teachers to have their resources as quickly as possible. Please see our feedback to view customer satisfaction comments.

Clever Classroom combines postage to include discounts. Please hold off paying when purchasing multiple items and a combined invoice will be sent. Here are our postage discount rates.

1 or 2 CDs $2.75, 3 CDs $3.00 and 4 or more CDs $4.00 postage. Anything weighing over 500grams and thicker than 2cm will be sent in a 3kg bag as this is the cheapest method and will cost $10.

If you require registered or express post please contact me and the postage amount will be amended in the invoice.

Communication & Feedback

Clever Classroom sends a confirmation of payment message via ebay messages and further a confirmation of postage message.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE MESSAGES IN PAYPAL THEY WILL NOT BEEN SEEN IN TIME. PLEASE LEAVE ANY QUERIES IN EBAY MESSAGES OR ON YOUR INVOICE IN CHECKOUT.

Policies & Returns

Clever Classroom sends all orders via Australia Post. We take no responsibility for any losses made by Australia Post. Replacements will not be given for lost mail. You may choose the registered post option.

If your resource is not what you expected you can return your resources with 7 days of purchase for a merchandise refund only. Postage is to be paid by the customer.
