Picks!

A real beauty here, a Les Paul pick guard fashioned out of 1/8" zebra wood, hard to get a pic which does it justice. This one looks great with a number of paint styles, including sunburst. This is hand made to the exact shape and size of factory guards. Smooth, beveled edge and countersunk screw holes. It is sanded to perfection, stained, and given a protective clear coat. This one has very nice grain patterns, is pictured below on my lefty to give you an idea of looks and fit. These are far more resilient than stock guards, and when they get scratched/scuffed up, as all pick guards do, they can simply be lightly sanded and recoated with a stain and/or clear coat, as you chose.

Whether you are Billy Gibbons or a punk kid playing in the garage, nothing can add more pizazz to your rig than a custom pick guard, and at a very economical price. These can be swapped out in a minute, with only a screwdriver necessary. Since these are individually crafted, you can be all but guaranteed that you will be the only one in town that has one on your axe.

Note:

Be advised, I sell various woods with varying thickness. This one is about a 1/8 thick, 3.6 mm to be exact, it is roughly 1 mm thicker than a stock plastic guard, which is 2.3 mm. It drops right in and fits as the original, and the extra thickness shouldn't interfere playing on the lower frets, though it may bother some people. If you play alot towards the upper [pickup] frets, this may not be for you. Check my listings for more designs. Some woods match better with some guitars, some don't go together well at all. Use your best judgment, and if you don't think this one will match up good color wise with your axe, check my listings or contact me for more options. These are not cookie stamped out on a laser cutter, these are hand made, and have the attention to detail and uniqueness than no massed produced Guitar Center item is ever going to have.

These will fit Les Pauls with standard pickup configuration. If your configuration has been altered or modified in any way, they may or may not fit. No hardware included, you are bidding on a custom made wood pick guard only. Shipping - Priority flat rate small box is the best option, to insure intact delivery at a reasonable price. I charge actual cost, and do not make a dime padding shipping.
