Cuisenaire Alphabet Book by Maria Rizzo Marolda 

What you see when you open the  book is a simple two page format for each letter, A through Z.  Left hand page has two versions of the letter, one with open space, the other gridded into centimeter squares, together with some problems to be solved with Cuisenaire rods. The right hand page contains pictures of objects which begin with the letter and are to be covered with rods. What is not obvious upon first glance is the mathematical richness and depth these experiences provide.
