I would first like to thank all the awesome buyers that have bought from me over the years. They definitely make up the majority of eBay users. I never use to understand why sellers had so many rules stated in their listings, it always seemed unnecessary and a bit rude. As a seller I try to always be 100% accurate and never make mistakes. The fact is mistakes happen. I only ask that if a mistake or any problem happens that the buyer simply right a polite message asking what can be done. I do hold myself to higher standards than that required by eBay or paypal. Ebay holds the seller responsible for problems even if the seller did everything right. This does tend to empower the buyer. Unfortunately some buyers feel this gives them the right to be rude or nasty without any consequences. I realize the computer is impersonal; however there is a person at the other end. Buyers need to understand that sellers can simply block buyers they do not want to sell to. I own several large seller accounts and do block buyers from all when necessary. If you find you are permanently unable to buy from me and other sellers this may be why. Buyers leaving less than positive feedback without first contacting me or buyers who threaten negative feedback in their messages will be blocked and find their ability to buy on eBay restricted. Simply put if there is a problem, do not assume I am ripping you off, send insults or threaten me with negative feedback. Just be polite and drop me a note so I can try to fix it for you. Recently a buyer sent me an inflammatory message and I declined her request for a refund, if her message had been polite I would have given her what she wanted. This is my philosophy and hope it is well received. Thank you for trusting me with your order.
