This quirky YA fantasy is a sequel to HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE. Humble rug-seller Abdullah has always dreamed of going on a grand adventure. After a mysterious stranger sells him a magic carpet, Abdullah, to his joy and horror, finds himself having the adventure of his dreams. Having fallen in love with a beautiful princess, he subsequently must rescue her from the powerful djinn who has kidnapped her and taken her to the distant land of Ingary. Along the way, he acquires two companions, a roguish soldier and an unreliable genie.
