This is a great vintage swim cap. The story was that all the women's hair would clog the drains of every public swimming pool - so it was decreed there would be no swimming for women unless their head was covered by a swimming cap. Not to mention a great protection for the hairdo. So to make all females more stylish, embleshments on the swimcap were essential. This one is classic, lime green, orange and yellow flowers to make anyone look more mermaid-like! Still with original carrying bag. The bag says Kleinert's #2027 Oriental Sava-wave. Size Large The watertight inner rim keeps hair dry. It even has instructions on how to properly don the cap. It warns - Be sure to buy the correct head size. Large head size 22 1/2- 23 1/2". The cap is in great shape, probably not worn much, or properly rinsed before storage (according to pkg directions). Buyer to pay shipping of $3.50. |
