If you are a college or university student thinking about taking a required physics class you may want to make sure your math skills are good enough for keeping up with your future instructor. I have been teaching Math and Physics for almost 20 years and know that the success in physics class is heavily based on student’s math background. I have developed this test and find a strong correlation between the final grades for physics class and student’s math skills. Upload the test, try to solve all the problems (try suing a calculator as least as possible), check your answers. If you find something difficult – that is the area which might need some improvement. Good luck! P.S. The pdf file with the test and the answers will be emailed to you. |
