 2 Fragments of a Scarce Incunable, Probably Printed in Germany, c1470s, with great handwritten marginalia!
Extracted from old German binding!


Fragments measures roughly 7.5" x 6.5", with Latin text to both sides, complete with great contemporary handwritten marginalia. Some soiling, as shown, with a few instances of worm damage, some small hole and light loss. Both pieces are reattached to each other, as shown. Extracted from an unknown old incunable binding by a former owner. Possibly of Grammar, "Ars Minor" from Donatus, but not confirmed. Great chance to own a piece of a 500+ year old manuscript!
