 6 Fragments of a Scarce Illuminated c1300-early 1400s handwritten vellum manuscript!
Extracted from old post incunable binding!



Fragments measure roughly 1.5" x 2.25" - 2.5" x .75", with handwritten red and black letter font text to both sides, as shown with a single illuminated letter. Probably Italian, c1300s. Some soiling, as shown, with a few instances of tattering, paper covering still remaining (mostly to backs), fading, chipping and soiling. Extracted from a mid 1500s religious work folio printed in Venice. Great chance to own 6 pieces of a 500+ year old illuminated handwritten manuscript! Content unknown, but looks to be sermons. Good luck!
