Truly ahead of its time & wished HP would continue to make similar products. This scanner beats anything on the market for doing large format artwork and illustration reproductions. The only thing dated is the interface the hardware is top notch. Takes a little digging to get the drivers installed to run on windows 10 but the inconvenience is worth it!

Too bad that HP only manufactured this model for a couple of years. I have owned two of these and would buy a few more should my current break down. They are really high tech in their appearance; have had many friends see and ask,"What is that neat looking thing?" The scanner itself is unique in that you can place it over an object and basically perform a 3-D scan of anything. Considering the space it takes up, you can basically fold it up and just stick it in a book rack, or similar. Need to be careful with the "glass" as the glass is actually plexiglass and can scratch although even larger scratches don't affect the quality of the scans. The quality of the scans are very good and the software is very user friendly. I highly recommend this unit for those who like the "high tech" appearances and need to consider the space issue with a scanner.Read full review
it's basic old slide projector. it's ok although it's not useful for me. i just wasted my money, but i guess i can't complain too much, because, it's old item. i expected too much from the vintage item.

These are awesome, can't believe you can not buy a new version of this. Installed the Vista driver and just plain worked.
