Wow, this is my first high priced folding knife and it blows me away. The quality is amazing from fit and finish to the incredibly light weight for such a substantial sized blade. The only thing that wasn't perfect was a couple of little burrs that weren't properly removed from the tip of the blade where the two edges met. It took just a couple passes on a whetstone to hone them away but they shouldn't be there to begin with right? Back to the great things about it: super fast opening with an incredibly solid locking mechanism. Blade sits dead in the middle, is razor sharp and hollow-ground/thin so that it slices through everything with ease. The unique shape is not just cool to look at it provides an edge that matches up with the grip so the belly is in line making it an exceptional slicer, cutter and stabber. The carbon fiber handle material really looks great and also provides a very nice tactile solid grip. There's zero flex to the sides when the blade is open and it's easy to unlock and one hand back retract. The lock could be a tad bit longer but that would take away from the style of this great looking knife. Buy one I think you'll be very happy.Read full review

I had originally steered away from the 0770 because it was a liner lock. But I got my knife at a good prices (slightly used) and thought I would give it a try. I am going to incorporate it into my EDC line up because I primarily work in an office environment and it is light weight. The liner lock has no serrations so that is a plus when working with it. I like the CF version, but probably wouldn't buy the micarta version. The recurve blade makes it a good slicer.

Great, capable little knife! Carries excellent with adequate retention and minimal reveal (minus the prominent zt logo, jeez wish they'd stop that but all the big names seem to do it too!). Excellent fit and finish, no rattle, no blade play, snappy action but nowhere near absurd, tight lockup, and the blade is even perfectly centered. I got this a bit below retail but even at retail I'd still consider this knife a great value. My blade was pretty dull when compared to other zts, as well as other brands but quickly took a serviceable edge on my spyderco rig. Thus far i can agree with some other reviews on the zt s35vn steel, seems a bit soft but the trade-off here i guess is the ease of sharpening vs a lower edge retention. Im no sharpening expert, nor steel nerd (but far from uninitiated, i have many knives in many different steels used and collected for over 30 years) but that's my observation thus far. It's speedsafe so I'm assuming that you either like it or hate it. If you own other Kai products you've likely encountered this already and deal with it in your own little way. I happen to actually like it, and since i buy what I like I'm quite happy with it! It's de-assistable too btw, for those of you who just can't live with speedsafe, more power to ya and rock on! Successful de-assist seems to vary wildly here though, just fyi... Pros: great materials, top notch fit and finish, weight and ergos consistent with a fine EDC choice, good speedsafe action, solid lockup, useful blade, not overly "murdery-looking" either as compared to MANY other zt choices (yes, this is a thing now apparently, where we now must account for the possibility of ending up in court if we ever decide to defend ourselves with an edged tool, sad really...) Cons: soft s35vn (mine was dull-ish too), speedsafe (for the ss haters it's definitely a con ha!). Overall I call it a winner, it's no zt 0777 which this model is based upon but for the dough i consider it to be top notch! Minus the cool little fuller you could even easily mistake this for the 777 m390 at first glance... Recommended, 4 stars here, only because it's nearly impossible to get a 5 star outta me for any knife made by anyone at any price. Well done on this model ZT! Read full review

I have a lot of Spyderco and Benchmade knives so I was a little reluctant to try a brand I had never seen in person. I did a little research and ZT Knives are made by Kershaw as a higher end product. The reviews across all their models were very positive. I liked the looks of this model and decided to give it a go. I'm very glad I did. This knife is outstanding. The carbon fiber scales have a great texture, look amazing and really lighten up the knife. The assisted open action is as far as some automatics I have. My favorite feature is the stone washed blade. It's been tumbled so that it has a broke-in look already so if you're like me, you don't have to get anxious over scratching up your new blade. It's already been done in a professional manner. Nothing to complain about regarding the knife. I just wish they had included a soft drawstring pouch or something like Benchmade does.Read full review

I now have two. This is because I thought I lost one. Now one is for work and the other is around town. Light, sharp, very good design, fast opening. Make it your EDC if you need a light weight slim knife.
