The LS608 incorporates efficient quasi-horn loading on its 1400-Watt 18” driver to combine the best of both worlds – smooth, deep, powerful bass and remarkable compactness. Suitable for touring or fixed installations, the cabinet is constructed of 15mm 11-ply Baltic Birch with heavy internal bracing for reduced resonance and better durability, all covered in rugged black carpeting. An optional finish of black ultrathane paint (LS608B) is also available. Hardware includes metal corner protectors and a heavy-gauge metal grille. Amp hook-ups and sub inter-connections are made simple with parallel pairs of 1/4" and Speakon™.connectors. Additionally, the Speakons™ are regulated by a configuration switch which allows instant reversal of the pinouts for easy single-wire hook-up using optional four-wire Speakon™ cables.

Features

The LS608 and LS808 include flush, top-mounted stand adapters so that optional speaker poles may be used to mount full range enclosures above – avoiding the need for separate tripod stands. The LS608 and LS808 both feature dual, side-mounted, inset carry handles making it easier for two people to carry them. The LS808, LS1004 and LS1208 have tilt-back wheels and top/rear mounted corner handles for better maneuverability and stacking (wheels don't fall in the handles!!).

All élite Series subwoofers are suitable for touring or fixed installations.

The enclosures are now constructed of 15mm birch plywood with heavy internal bracing for reduced resonance and better durability, and covered in black carpet covering. They incorporate metal corner protectors, rugged curved anti-resonant metal grilles, ¼" or Speakon™ input connectors and all except the LS608 feature rear mounted wheels and handles for ease of transport.

Additionally, the passive models feature Speakon™ connectors and a configuration switch that allows instant reversal of Speakon™ jack pinouts for easy single wire hook-up using optional four wire Speakon™ cables and Yorkville’s two year transferable warranty.
