Strap is made of thick great quality material it is firm comfortable to use and sewn very well. Great for use as an aid to stretch and assist in proper pose. I recently completed physical therapy, which is where I first learned about these straps. These are awesome for general stretching and are super-sturdy. I imagine they'd also be good for intense stretching or helping to maintain balance while doing yoga. I don't do yoga because I tend to fall over, and while thoroughly entertaining, it's just better for my overall health to not fall over (so...). I definitely recommend these straps.
