RX-V779 Good features & great price
Set up wasn't terribly complicated, powerful sound and many features, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth in and out is pretty cool. I'm having a minor lip sync issue with using BT headsets, contacted Yamaha support and they respond in a very reasonable time frame but offer suggestions that are often too simplistic and are just answers to say they've answered the case. Still waiting for a real response, maybe its a defective feature, we'll see.
The HDMI inputs on the back are organized with the first one being Blu-Ray the set top box as # 2, gaming, etc. I just find it odd to not have the set top box/satellite as #1, with that being said each and every input or output can have the labels changed but takes more time to set up. I like the Zone 2 audio output and the second HDMI out but it mirrors the regular HDMI out. Upscaling and 4K passthru works very well, I did notice while the upscaling or "processing" is enable instead of "direct" there is not on screen display of the audio level as you change the volume, in direct mode it displays the sound level. The unit doesn't have Atmos or the DTS version but if I wanted it its available in other Yamaha units.
Overall very satisfied and would recommend it, i like the ability to control from iPad or phone as the remote as well.
