For bids is my personal and rare to find vintage FT-101F Series Transceiver (last in the series next to the FT-101FS and FX rigs which are even rarer to find these days) which is in excellent shape cosmetically and operationally.  Included is the power connection cable for this rig.  This rig was just fully serviced in May 2012 by technicians at Certified Electronics who specifically work on vintage Yaesu equipment.  A full transmit/receive alignment was done; all controls were cleaned; and the PA stage was rebuilt to allow for better loading.  (Ref: EHam Site under Reviews for Certified Electronics for more information on their performance).  I can provide a copy of the service details document from Certified Electronics upon request for your review which has the repairs and power outputs documented on it (as noted below).  The rig contains NEC NOS 6JS6C final amplifier tubes (x2) along with a NOS 12BY7A driver tube.  The original FT-101 series transceivers utilized the Toshiba green banded 6JS6C final tubes; however, in the mid-1970s Yaesu began to install the NEC brand final amplifier tubes in their later production of the FT-101E and FT-101F series transceivers.  The rig had the following power outputs when checked by Certified Electronics technicians (160M – 100 watts; 80M – 140 watts; 40M – 140 watts; 20M – 140 watts; 15M – 120 watts; and 10M – 100 watts).

The FT-101F contains all of the changes and upgrades which were done to the FT-101E series transceiver during its long production period.  It includes an RF Speech Processor; modifications for hum due to AC picked up from the pilot lamp circuit; noise blank modifications; etc.  Very few of the FT-101F models were made with most being released by 1978.

This rig has two SSB filters and one CW filter installed.

I will include a small box of 8 aftermarket miniature lamps from Advanced Micro Lites Inc and two Toshiba NOS 12BY7A tubes (you only need one for this rig) in the event you need them in the future.  If you’re looking for a rig that is a good and smart investment, this is in as good as condition as you will find of any that are for sale on the market today.  This rig is heavy to ship at 35 lbs which will explain the listed shipping cost.  My shipping fees include double box packaging for this rig along with insurance and shipping costs.  Will only ship to the lower US 48 States. I do my absolute best to describe eBay items as accurately as possible and strive for 100% customer satisfaction. If the high bidder has any issue what so ever, PLEASE contact me before leaving feedback. I will do my utmost to resolve any issues.  This rig is not warranted in any way as I have no idea of the buyer’s radio operating background or ability to tune up/operate it.

Thanks for looking and bidding!  KD0RAN
