I love reading James Patterson. When I saw a new novel out, of course I wanted it. James Patterson did the usual thing, he kept us riveted on the story line and the short chapters are always a push to keep reading. Bennett, a New York detective is assigned the case with help from Emily, who specializes in kidnapped children. A lawyer upset with the direction the world is going, sets out to test the children of the rich. If they do not know the answer to his questions, they are punished by an untimely death. He feels the rich are responsible for squandering their wealth and not sharing with the needy. Bennet and Emily run from one case to another. Emily is invited to dinner at the Bennet's and meets 10 multiraced children of Det. Bennet's and is filled in on some of his life. Of course our lawyer interrupts and races them to another kidnapping.Read full review
James Patterson's latest in the Michael Bennett series; "Worst Case" is a case of worst case scenario. A villain on the verge of collapse of how the world works. The plot of the story was fantastic coming from the mind of the man who can not miss .. James Patterson. Also introduced in this latest of the series, a romance is brewing. Bennett and his live in nanny, Mary Catherine is starting down a path that I can't wait to see unfold. Bennett works with a FBI agent introduced in this story that was fun to read. Interesting if she will return in future novels. Returning for this book was his 10 adopted children and his grand father Seamus. Worth reading over and over and excellent in the continuation of this series. While reading you will ponder the question as to why this villain is doing what he is doing. The ending was awe aspiring and I truly loved it ! I give this novel 10 stars ! A MUST READ !Read full review
My Mother in Law loves James Patterson and She saw this and gave it a try. She can not write so I will do My best to explain it.. She said it was as good as His earlier books even though She had not liked some other newer books of Patterson. I am not a big fan of Him but have read some good ones. She (at 79) thinks this is well worth the waste of an otherwise useful day... LOL.. Great foe weekends or a summer trip. Great brainless fun without worrying about the economy or anything else.
I bought this book because I am a huge fan of James Patterson, but not only am I, my husbands grandmother is as well. I bought the book for her. Knowing how expensive hardbacks are at retail stores I decided to check ebay out first. I couldn't beat the price and the condition of the book. A huge plus, the book was released this year.
The book arrived ahead of schedule in fine condition. I was unable to fine this installment of the series locally. The online store had it and the price was right!
