I purchased the Wet n Wild ColorIcon #249 palette after seeing one of my favourite YouTube gurus using it for her various tutorials. The product is discontinued, so I jumped at the chance when I seen that a seller here on EBay had it for sale. It contains 6 shades; 3 matte and 3 shimmery.I have yet to use the shimmery colors, but don't let this stop you from purchasing or thinking any less about the #249 palette,I just don't go out a lot in the night which is in my opinion, the time that these shades would be perfectly suited for. I use the dark brown (cheaper alternative for MAC Embark)as a brow color and for my crease. I use the light color(think MAC Bisque) as a highlight, and the middle matte color on my lids. The pros of this product is: -Its very pigmented and can be used without primer,if you are wearing for a few hours, for all day though, use a primer. -You can create a variety of natural daytime and smokey eye looks with this palette. -In my opinion this works for all eye colors. -Very affordable,I paid less than a tenner for it, which included postage and packaging. The cons are: -I wish this product hadn't been discontinued. -You have to take great care that you don't drop it, as the packaging is so fragile, you may end up wasting your product (A big no no). -As the general packaging and price is cheap, I've dashed the applicator and use an eyeshadow brush, not really a problem in my opinion just an observation. Overall I will buy this product again and will continue to buy it, as long as BeautyJoint has it in stock.I will definitely recommend it to my friends and will recommend it to you the reader, so what are you waiting for? Get out there and buy it! Just remember to leave some for me.Read full review
This limited edition eyeshadow trio in "Zero Dark Flirty" is just as spectacular as all other Wet n Wild eyeshadows. There are three GORGEOUS purple shades and they go on like butter! Wet n Wild may be cheap in price, but in my opinion, their shadows are second to none! I own MANY WnW eyeshadow trios and palettes and I had to get my hands on this Limited Edition Military Collection trio...and I'm SO glad I did! If you're uncertain about whether WnW eyeshadows are for you, know this: Many makeup artists that I know personally, use high-end products in their kits/on their clients, but at home they use WnW on themselves! That should tell you something! I hope that this review helps someone who is on the fence about their eyeshadows!
I wish wet n wild had t discontinued this color. It really is quite pretty, especially for blue or green eyes. It's typical wet n wild quality, which is good, especially good when you factor in what it costs. Wer n wild rarely disappoints, and is always affordable.

I have never bought drug store brand cosmetics, even when I was a young kid. After seeing a tutorial about this palette on Youtube about it and the makeup artist comparing it favorably to Dior shadows and Chanel I was curious. This is exceptional eye shadow. Not sure if all their colors or palettes equal this high standard, but I will be buying more! The price point is downright silly! Chanel $65 for 5 shadows, Wet 'n Wild 10 shadows $7.49! Lasted all day, stunning blendability, overall superlative product! So impressed.
I bought this product after hearing great reviews and boy o boy is everyone right! I am an Urban Decay fanatic so I tried this product out with lots of skepticism! These shadows are BEYOND FANTASTIC!!!!!! THEY ARE BUTTERY, SUPER PIGMENTED, AND BLEND OUT LIKE A DREAM! Since buying this palette, I have purchased 7 others and not one has been a disappointment. If you buy this one...you MUST get the palette called The Comfort Zone too
