The 1943-S is rarer than the 1945-S and 1946-S, but not as rare as the other S-Mints of the 1940s. Nonetheless, it is one of the key dates to the 1940-1947 set. Strike is a problem with this issue, as it is for all 1940 to 1944 S-Mint Walkers. The left hand of Ms. Liberty is often so weak it cannot be seen at all. Sharply struck Gems are very scarce and definitely worth a premium price. Luster can be very white and frosty and this issue is also often found with varying degrees of toning.
Love these coins, especially that they are succinct years and same mint mark! Awesome!
