Made in the U.S.A. in Boulder, Colorado beginning in the mid 1930's, this item is a World War Two Vintage Rare Western Cutlery Military Shark Model G46 Combat / Survival / Utility Fixed Blade Fighting Knife with Matching Leather WW2 Sheath.  It comes to you in very good condition.  Very good instead of excellent because previously, properly sharpened blade shows some minor scratches and tarnish spots.  No rust!  No blade, handguard or pommel wobble!  Bowie style fullered sabre blade appears at least 95% full!  Blade had pierced a hole through tip of sheath so I had a professional leather man reinforce it.  Sheath is now very good with strong snap strap and no missing stitiches!

Overall length of this old beauty is slightly under 10 1/4", blade length is slightly under 6", and although difficult to read, tang is marked, "WESTERN   Boulder, Colo.   Pat. 1,967,479" (this U.S. patent number is from 1934).  It sports a stacked leather handle with red, white and black spacers an over and under steel fighting style handguard and a rare eagle head bakelite pommel.  Selling as is.  This sought after Shark is simply the real deal and it has most likely seen combat.  Also, see my other listings for more vintage knives and other interesting items.

Bid with confidence!  This is a guaranteed U.S.A. made WW2 vintage Western Shark in great condition for its age.  Use or display with pride!  Very low opening bid with NO RESERVE!
