Here's a short video about what makes me different in the customer service department:
There are a lot of home security systems on Ebay. A lot of them look exactly like this one. And in some cases, they are the same manufacturer, coming from the same factory.
So then, is there a difference between eBay stores? Should you be loyal to one supplier? Is price the only difference?
Hi, my name is Mike Hofeditz. I live in Seattle.
I own my own security system consulting and installation company, where I work full time installing and consulting with people about their security. We also provide monitoring services to those who want them.
I sell these systems to my regular home and business security system clients. My company provides full security service including consulting and installation.
But if you are a do-it-yourselfer, you can buy these units from me at the reduced prices you see in this eBay store. I make videos to explain how it all works, and you'll be able to follow my simple explanations on the free CD I send with every kit. Other guys do that part, too... but I think you'll like my videos better!
Here's an overview video clip of these great systems:
Here are 3 important reasons why I believe you should buy these systems from me:
1. I give you a three year warranty. If it dies in 3 years from the time you buy it, I'll replace it no charge. You'll receive a certificate of this in writing from me.
2. We personally check every unit before we ship it. We check the batteries. We turn it on and hook it all together: each sensor, and its communication with the Einstein control unit you ordered. So you know it is right, and you know that nothing went wrong anywhere between the factory and your house.
3. We personally pre-program every sensor you buy into your Einstein control unit. That saves you at least two hours. We pack with each kit a form that tells you the code number of each switch and sensor in your system.
Here's a video clip about how you will "train" your control unit to add additional sensors beyond the ones contained in this kit (which we program for you before we ship the kit) It's called "teaching Einstein".
Another reason we think you'll like doing business with us is that along with your kit we send a form that has all your sensors listed, and room to add more. All you have to do to configure your system is to write down where each sensor or alarm is located in the house or office, on the handy form we provide. We have already written on the form what number each sensor and alarm is to the Einstein controller. We call this time-saving service "Smart Install" because it saves you time and makes the home security system much easier to use.
4. Your Einstein system is expandable, and it has a future. We are working hard to develop other products which work with the Einstein system, so you can monitor your house with video, review it on your laptop or iPhone... all kinds of cool value added features will be available soon... adding to the life and longevity of your Einstein intelligent home or office security system!

All about this
Einstein Home Security Kit
from SecurityHow --
The heart of your home security system is the intelligent “brain” — some people call it the "Watchdog" but at SecurityHow, we call it "Einstein". Very smart. Very cool. And because it's wireless it talks to up to 32 sensors in your house or office at the speed of light.
It wirelessly sounds all of your alarms, alerting you or your neighbors to a break-in or other emergency. And, it also automatically dials up to 6 phone numbers the moment your security is breached.
Though this kit does not include smoke and gas detectors, your Einstein unit can also protect you from fires or leaking gas -- all you need to do is buy these sensors from the SecurityHow eBay store, and you can add around the clock fire and carbon monoxide gas protection at any time.
This 5th-generation Einstein control device should be deployed deep inside your home, office, or apartment, where a thief will never find it. From its hidden location your SecurityHow Einstein wirelessly listens to all of your sensors, responds to messages you send it by phone, by entry way keypad, or by keyfob switch (within about 250 feet).
This powerful master control unit can monitor and display the status of up to 40 secure areas on its LCD screen. (32 wireless and 8 wired sensors if your house already has an old-style security system.)
Reliable, easy to use, versatile to deploy, and expandable as your needs change, the SecurityHow Einstein employs sophisticated logic to interpret the signals coming from your window and door switches, motion detectors, fire and smoke alarms, glass breakage sensors, and special sensors in your safe, gun cabinet, liquor cabinet, office filing cabinets, jewelry boxes … anything that you wish to control access and maintain security.
Each and every sensor can be programmed to relate to the Einstein unit in one of 5 ways or modes.
Battery powered and able to work with both power out and phone lines cut, Einstein will protect you from the tragedy of break-ins and minimize the irritation of false alarms. At night, it has a "night vision" lighted display, allowing you to arm, disarm, or configure the system without turning on the room light or even a flashlight!
This basic kit also includes:
The eyes and ears of your Einstein intelligent home security system are these sensors. Each of them is wireless, and as many as 32 of them can be deployed to provide wireless real-time information to your SecurityHow Einstein Control Unit. Motion detectors can tell if something is moving inside your house. As such, it is possible for a false alarm. Possible, but not likely, since these motion detectors include powerful dual-beam intelligence which can distinguish between a dog and a human. There are also glass breakage detectors and the simple but powerful switches that can monitor every door, every window, even your gun safe, your file cabinets, etc.
Passive Infrared (PIR) 3-Laser Wireless Motion Detector -
CONTENTS OF THIS KIT - 1 (One) (more can be purchased separately - write to us at the SecurityHow eBay store)
From a distance of up to 50 feet, this advanced-technology motion detector uses the heat waves coming from living things to sense movement and protect you from intruders. It can see the difference between a pet and a human, and will tell your advanced control unit when any intruder is present…. and sound the alarm. You can adjust both the sensitivity and the angle of view of each unit, up to 110 degrees.
Wireless Window and Door sensors
CONTENTS OF THIS KIT: 10 (Ten) (more can be purchased separately - write to us at the SecurityHow eBay store)
Believe it or not the most common means of entry by burglars is through your doors! And windows are a close second! Usually, burglars simply look for doors that are ajar or can easily be forced. Often, patio doors fill the bill perfectly. Well, these switches will keep burglars from opening any sliding door or window, raising any double-hung window, or using their tools to pop a door open. The invisible magnetic catch in these switches works all the time, and the wireless signals are constantly monitored by your SecurityHow Einstein unit.
Here's video clip 2, More About the Sensors:
NOTE ON OTHER SENSORS YOU SHOULD CONSIDER BUYING: This kit is basically a burglar alarm only. We recommend our Glass Breakage sensor for better burglar protection. The Einstein Control Unit can also accept smoke and gas sensors.... which turns it into a fire alarm and a gas leakage protection alarm. We recommend buying our wireless smoke and gas sensors as soon as you can afford them... because they will protect you while you sleep, while you or the kids are home ... whether or not the burglar protection is armed.
A loud noise is by far the most important deterrent to burglars. They're not afraid of "monitored" systems that dial the phone, because they know that they'll have at least 15 minutes till the police come.... and that's all they need for most burglary jobs.... easy, quick stuff that they want to steal for drug money. So if your home or office alarm blares out a super loud alarm, they'll get scared and they'll run. And thus your property has been protected.
150db Outside Siren with Strobe
THIS KIT CONTAINS 1 (one) of these. You can buy more at the SecurityHow eBay store. Did we mention we have great prices every day?!
This SecurityHow Alarm and Strobe flashes a strobe and a 150 decibel alarm that’s literally louder than thunder. If you’re wondering how loud that is, 120 decibels is the sound of a rock concert up close… loud enough to hurt your ears. 130 is 10 times that loud. And 140 is ten times that again — as loud as a gun right next to you. We’re talking serious sound output here.
A word about sound output.
One supplier of this equipment likes to say these units have 180 or even 300 decibels of sound output. That is a totally bogus claim. First of all, the human ear pain threshold is 140 db. Anything louder than that, the ear can't tell the difference. 150 or 160 sounds the same as 140. Scientists who measure sound say that a jet engine at takeoff is 180 db. What could be louder than that? Perhaps a major explosion shock wave.
These horns are not in that category. They are painfully loud within 100 feet, and they will scare away a burglar. But they're not going to break glass across the street or cause someone's ears to bleed.
(Guns vary between 140 and 180 decibels in sound strength... but if you're standing nearby, they all feel the same, and your ear can't distinguish the difference in loudness ... only, perhaps, the "shape" of the sound.) 150 decibels is 10 times as powerful as 140! If one horn is 150 decibels, are two 300 db? No -- with decibels a factor of two is a little less than 3 db. So the big double horn strobe-sirens we and others sell are maybe 153 db, not 300! Again, every 10 db is 10 times more powerful in terms of electrical power and actual air pressure generated than the 10 number before it. 110 is 10 times as powerful as 100, 120 is 10 times as powerful as 110, etc. Don't believe the overstated claims of some guys who are trying to sell you this equipment.
Here's our video about alarms our warranty, and why we hope to earn your business:
At SecurityHow we personally inspect these units to verify that they work, and back them up with a 3-year written warranty. We program your system and give you a written form that contains all the peripherals you have ordered with their system code number, so all you have to do is enter what location they each occupy in the home or office. Then we pack it all in a box with 2 attractive protective stickers to warn would-be intruders that thanks to Einstein, you ALWAYS know what is happening to your home and property.
