Images are slightly misguiding. I was expecting little more studier tripod. It maybe good if you are using half the height of tripod. You get what you pay for. .

I purchased these tripods to serve as a portable stand for my LED light heads so that I can quickly set-up and tear down when I am recording videos on location. I have a much heavier duty tripod for both my DSLR and video cameras. The product it great for the lighting application I mentioned, but it does not have the stability -- at least in the fully extended position -- to guarantee clear, clean photos or video recording. In the collapsed state, it is much more rigid and is suitable for photography and video recording applications. As far as the quality of construction, overall I would say it is cheap, at best. The legs tend to bind when the are being extended, and the center support tube is plastic, not aluminum. The control head is also cheaply made -- only time will tell how long it will last -- but for the price paid, it is really disposable and I won't consider it a loss if I have to throw one away if it breaks. I do a lot of semi-professional video work and I would not recommend this as a main tripod. As mentioned earlier, I bought them to hold light weight LED lighting heads, and they will work for for this application.Read full review

This tripod is very light & compact, the bubble level works well. The unit will raise to a decent height but over all you could break this pretty quick if not careful. The price is OK & my expectations were not too high so can't complain too much. I bought this to fit a Kodak PixPro AZ421 & the camera is a bit heavy for this pod. Also the adjustment knob for the 90 degree tilt is too close to the bottom of the camera so I must unscrew the camera, adjust the angle then put the camera back on. I will probably grind the knob down so that it will clear the bottom of the camera. Over all it will work good for smaller point & shoot cameras but you will still have to be careful becusee the aluminum legs are very thin & will break or bend.

I would rate this product as "Good one" but not giving the best mark. It's really cheap, the price is fantastic but you have to realize where you're going to use it BEFORE the purchase, not after. In my opinion, it's suitable for indoor use only. Its constroction is too light to handle simple wind and you dont want your DSLR camera to be broken. So if it's for your small home photo shoots -go ahead
I bought this to use for my dslr camera, but I'm going to give it away in a present to someone with a compact camera. The tripod is very light and small, but I don't think it will last very long, because the quality of it seems "cheap". Very easy to use, It's very good for compact cameras but I would not recommend this for use with dslr cameras.
