If you have fewer than (25) feedbacks on your user i.d., then please email me first before bidding on my items. I know this appears arbitrary, but it seems that the buyers with really low feedback never want to pay me, so emailing me beforehand let's me know that you are a serious buyer and do understand how EBay works. I apologize in advance, but if you fail to do this, I will cancel your bid without notification. Bidding and winning is fun (as it should be!) but it's also a contract and it should be taken seriously. I do encourage you to take advantage of combined shipping, but I will only run a "tab" for 7 days unless notified beforehand.
I accept Paypal only but I do realize there are certain circumstances when this is not always possible. If you are considering an alternate payment method, please email me before bidding so we can talk about it. I do expect payment within 3 days of winning an auction unless I have been contacted beforehand or in cases where you are interested in multiple listings. If payment or communication has not been met within 3 days of winning an item, an Unpaid Item case will be filed and the item will be re-listed. This is EBay policy and so therefore it's our policy (meaning mine and yours :-) Unresolved Unpaid Item cases do leave a negative strike on your account, which in most cases will prevent you from bidding on future listings (mine and others)...it's a serious offense and should be avoided. Bid wisely and pay promptly and you can never go wrong :-)
In most cases (not including holidays or Sundays) I ship the same day as payment is received. If for some reason I am unavailable to do so (which isn't often :-) then I will post that on my message board (located by clicking my user i.d. and scrolling down the page).I choose the cheapest/fastest method of shipping so if you have specific shipping requirements (Priority, Express, box versus envelope (when applicable) then please email me before paying and I will adjust the invoice accordingly. I do combine shipping on multiple items completed within the same listing cycle (7 days). Mailing an item costs more than just postage and just because one seller low-balls shipping costs to entice you to spend more doesn't mean that I will. The shipping prices listed above includes the cost of supplies, delivery confirmation and actual postage. I do not make any money off of shipping - what it costs me, it costs you. Insurance is only provided upon request and does cost extra.
I primarily deal in "old stuff" because that is what I like. "Old stuff" is found in basements, estate sales, yard sales, under rocks, backyards, garages, wood piles, attics, under cars and other strange and wonderful places. That's why they call them "hidden treasures." I am not an expert on anything I sell - only a fan- and I do my best to describe my items to the best of my abilities. Buyer's tend to be the experts, so if you have certain concerns about an item then it is in your best interest to address those before buying. In the event that I have grossly misrepresented an item or fail to point something obviously important out, I do offer a 100% money back refund, provided that the item(s) in question have been returned to me first and are in the same condition that they were originally shipped. If a return is necessary, just keep the original mailer, replace item and write "Return to Sender" on the package and it can be returned to me without an additional cost to you. If the original mailer is unavailable to you, then return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibilities. Refunds are through Paypal when the item arrives back in my possession.
Feedback will be left for you after you have left it for me first because I like to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, please contact me before leaving negative or neutral feedback so we can figure out a solution :-) I would very much appreciate a Five Star Feedback Rating because I do try to describe my items thoroughly, I am always available to communicate with, I ship the same day you pay me and (since I only charge you what it costs it me) I am very fair on my shipping charges. I invite you to compare my listings to others here on site...I will never just take a blurry picture and write "you get what you see above" and then take a week to deliver it to you in an unsavory fashion. Most of my sales are from repeat customers for a reason :-) .
I will and do ship internationally, so if this applies to you just email me for a shipping quote. Having said that - First Class International does not come with tracking nor insurance and can take up to 3 months to deliver (depending on where you are). Priority International does come with tracking, insurance and takes only 6-10 business days for delivery no matter where you are - it's a little more expensive but I think it's worth it. I do charge an additional $1.99 to international orders because of the extra work involved with mailing them out (customs forms, travel and lost work hours due to travel and waiting in lines). I apologize, but this is non-negotiable. In the event you choose First Class (which is fine) I would like it to be stated that I cannot be held liable for loss or damages because you would have voluntarily chosen the "riskier/cheaper" shipping option. I like to provide you the option, because I realize no one wants to spend more than they think necessary but I like to point out the pro's and con's so you can be properly informed :-) Loss or damages are not common but they could happen so forewarned is forearmed :-)
