I enjoyed this TV series as a teenager in the 1960s and I own most of the volumes. However, compaired to todays TV serials, I think most young viewers would find most episodes with monsters in rubber suits as unrealistic. But, they didn't have computer graphic programs to create such creatures in the 1960s. The episodes are crystal clear and the colors are vivid.

Just a great escapist show that appeals to the kid in all of us.All the many monsters and aliens which appear on nearly every episode of The voyage to the bottom of the sea tv show are a little cheesey at best.I think it is exactly this cheeseyness that makes it so popular even after 40 some years later.Great fun
