RELISTED DUE TO NON-PAYING BUYER.

Hey gang, what's up?!? Please read my entire description. RETURN POLICY HAS BEEN CHANGED, PLEASE READ!!!

Okay, here's the scoop. Working on my second partscaster project and bought this body on ebay because of it being routed for a recessed Floyd Rose and because I REALLY wanted my new strat to be this color. I'm a sucker for off-white, cream, vintage white (whatever you wanna call it) strats, so I wanted that hot-rodded vintage vibe from my next guitar. That being said, I was at a guitar show recently that had a lot of boutique builders there, and I saw a different body for sale there that was absolutely to die for (spalted maple top with a Mary Kay white finish, are you kidding me?!?), so I picked that up for the new guitar instead. Rent's gotta be paid, so this one has to go instead.

The features of this strat body that I know of are as follows: it has a universal pickup rout and it was also routed for a recessed floyd rose tremolo. It comes with the bushings for the floyd rose studs, and they are the proper spacing (I checked with my bridge and everything lines up). It also has a contour neck joint for easier access to the higher frets; a standard Fender contour neck plate fits perfectly. I have had both a neck and pickguard actually installed onto the guitar for the sake of checking fit, and the pickguard and neck both fit just fine. No strap buttons. Based on the weight and the grain, I would guesstimate this is an alder body.

I am selling this body AS-IS but please read on. In the interest of disclosure, you, the buyer should note that the guitar body is used and it's obvious I'm not the only owner this thing has had. It looks exactly like what it is, a beater body meant to be built upon for solid playability, not beauty. I am not going to lie here...the floyd rout doesn't look like the prettiest job ever, but my original floyd bridge fit perfectly (in the bridge cavity too) and I assure you even with great lighting on it the bridge itself hid any imperfections from view unless you were to closely examine the instrument. Fans watching you at a show won't notice. Something else along the lines of "not noticeable under most circumstances" is the pickguard screw holes. When I installed the pickguard, I simply installed the screws in existing holes and did not make new ones. There were a couple sets of screw holes (please see photo) and one set definitely looked more correct than the other when installed. Due to the disparity between some of the screw placements, I believe the previous owner(s) may have had pickguards from several different manufacturers on the instrument at different times. Also, this guitar has VERY obviously been repainted. To the casual observer, it's not noticeable, but if you're inspecting the guitar you can definitely tell it has been spray painted (somewhat well, there are some signs of chippage around the routs under the pickguard and bridge, so very unnoticeable) over what I believe was originally a red finish of some sort. Finally, there is a few very small dents here and there, a small crack in the finish by the bridge that is NOT structural, just cosmetic, and a some small scuffs on the back (largest is on the back contour, about 5/8" long and 1/4" wide at the widest portion).

I am offering a return policy, but please be aware that I am listing all things that I feel a buyer should really know about this item before you place a bid. I am considering this fair warning and there again this body is AS-IS, but I still will offer a 14-day return policy.

If you want more pictures, please do not hesitate to ask. If you want more information or have any questions whatsoever, please do not hesitate to ask. I pride myself on being an ebayer that tries to communicate effectively, so seriously...there again...if there is ANYTHING you need to see or need to know, please get in touch quickly and I'll respond as quickly as I can.
