It was 1972, and the owner of this maxi dress had accompanied her husband on a business trip to Italy. They were in Florence, or Florenzia, at the Excelsior Hotel when he told her "you have been such a good girl, why don't you go to see Pucci and get anything you want"....so she spent the day there, modeling many many dresses for her husband's approval. This is the one they chose. She is a tiny tiny lady, and this was tailored to fit her small frame by Emilio Pucci himself, who carefully matched the seams and pattern of the jersey so that in no way was the design compromised.
The zipper is handstitched.
Excellent condition. When the owner was cleaning out her closets and called me to help, she presented this to me to sell for her, wrapped in tissue it had been stored in a drawer.
Please ask questions. This is a fine piece of fashion history.

Bust: 32"
Empire Waist: 25"
Hips: 34" to look right, it can fit tighter over larger but for the lines to lay right 34-35" is the most I would recommend
