This is a very sweet little hand painted bowl. The bowl is decorated with beautiful flowers. It has a gold trimmed edge inside the bowl, and this edge is also decorated. The bowl is marked on the bottom: Porcelain ware Japan, ACF Decorated in Hong Kong.

 Condition: This bowl is pre-owned, and have  signs of wear. There are no chips or cracks.  The edge color shows signs of wear - I am not really sure if this is part of the painting technique as in Rose Medallion ware - It kind of looks like that

Measurements: The bowl measures approximately: 4 1/2" in diameter, and 2 1/8" in diameter.

We are selling  Rose Medallion porcelain for a client. His parents were stationed in Japan in the 1970's where his mother was a purchaser for the officer's club. It was during this time his parents acquired these beautiful pieces. Because the pieces were acquired at different times and places the markings on the pieces may also be different. I found the beautiful little ACF porcelain bowl between the pieces of Rose Medallion.
