This is a Penn Surfmaster 200 with surf fishing scene in original box , extra spool , paper work and plastic Penn reel bag. The box has some wear from normal use and age. Mechanically the reel operates and has a loud clicker. Cosmetically the reel has ware and corrosion from normal use and age. Look at the pictures for a better idea. REEL INFO:
Surfmaster - To hard working saltwater anglers, the Penn general purpose reels, such as the Surfmaster, are as highly valued as mom, apple pie and the good old USA. These reels offer great value and serious features like durable aluminum spools, precision machined gears and Penn's famous HT-100 multi-disc star drag.

HISTORY:
With the first model built in the late 1940's, this reel has seen many improvements over the years construction-wise. The surfmaster series is built along the lines of the Squidder reel, and consisted of 4 models: models 100, 150, 200 and 250. The 250 was the first of the series to be discontinued, in the late 80's. The other models were discontinued by Penn in 2002.
250: One of the 4 Surfmaster models, these reels were manufactured for a long time, and the 250 model is no exception. First sold with 2 plastic "easy-cast" spools, but with an option to buy a seperate metal spool, this model was the only Surfmaster to be discontinued by Penn before the aluminum spools became available.
