Clipper Captain's Cap

This an authentic Pan Am captain's hat from the late 1950s or early 1960s. It is in excellent condition with only minor age discoloration on the cotton fabric. The Bancroft "military" cap is size 7 1/8 and was worn by my father. The 10k gold badge is not missing, my dad transferred it to a newer cap that I am keeping. A little background on the owner; he was hired by Pan Am in 1955. As captain, he logged more than 850 hours on the beautiful Boeing 707, and was the official pilot for the People's Republic of China table tennis team's historic visit in 1972. He was the real deal.
