For 5 DAY auction at NO RESERVE is this excellent 1950s - PARKER 51 Aerometric fountain pen in NAVY GREY & GOLD, excellent, near MINT, condition in box! Excellent wide Medium tipped writing nib is solid 14K gold! Excellent 1/10 12K Gold Filled cap has NO dents or dings, with few, even faint, use/wear marks found even on very close inspection! Cap’s engraved pattern is 5-line tapering panels, a very elegant pen! Navy Grey barrel is excellent with a high gloss. NO chips, cracks, scratches, bite marks or monograms. Few surface imperfections/use marks can be found even on very close inspection (photos may show some lint on pen from polishing cloth)!! Pearlescent clip jewel. Aerometric fill system has a clean, clear silicone ink sac, and has been flushed and tested for leaks. Filler does have a few loose flakes of chrome plating. Filler reads: PARKER "51" …PRESS RIBBED BAR FIRMLY 6 TIMES…! Feed system has recently been cleaned, flushed and serviced. It will arrive ready for your favorite ink!! Nice, wide Medium tipped nib with excellent tipping material, tines properly aligned. Measures 5 3/8" (138mm) in length closed/capped.
