A wooden Globe-Wernicke Card File
Box, model 7410-C.
We are pleased to present this vintage
Globe-Wernicke Card File Box for your consideration.
A gorgeous wooden piece, the Box has fabulous Dovetail Joints
and an interior that appears to be Redwood. In exceptionally
good condition, the Box still has its original product label
and manufacturer decal on the front.
The Box measures 5-3/8 inches high,
6-1/2 inches wide, and 10 inches deep. It weighs 2 pounds 9
ounces.
The exterior of the box shows scattered
light wear. There are some bumps to the corners and edges, a
few scratches, and some faint water rings to the finish on the
top. The hinges and hardware are clean, free of rust, and in
good operating condition. The interior is clean and odor free.
We rate the overall condition as very good to excellent (see
pictures).
This is a beautiful vintage Card File
from a renowned manufacturer. It would make a wonderful addition
to any collection!
