This is a stunning 1940's Fenton #3967 CR, 80 oz. Jug, also called a Water Pitcher. This jug was introduced in 1941, and is the cranberry color, Hobnail pattern and is opalescent with great Fire to it. It is in Excellent condition no cracks or chips. It measures approximately over 7 1/2" tall by 7 3/4 ' wide at its widest point. It has a clear crimped handle and the very desirable deep cranberry color. The top is fluted and has a lip for easy pouring. Fenton's Cranberry is a heat sensitive glassware that is made by casing Gold Ruby with French Opalescent Glass. Fenton no longer produces glassware so prices will continue to rise, do not miss out on this great piece.
