      This textile is an amazing hand-woven , antique / vintage hemp / linen grain sack from Europe ~Lovely and RARE stripe!!! This sack has a pale mark on one side ( please see photographs) about the size of a nickle~This beautiful sack has  a wonderful purple, thin stripe! This sack dates from the early 1900's ~  The ground tone is a darker warm toned natural and the weave is a LOVELY heavy twill weave! This sack is SO densely woven, wonderfully heavy weight, built to withstand 200 years of constant use ~ A rare find! ~*~ Wonderfully pliable, floppy ~ very high quality . This grain sack is machine stitched at the sides and the top has a machine stitched zig zag hem! ~   ~ Ideal for so many uses ( please see below ) ( I have multiple matching  grain sacks , so if you would like to purchase multiple matching sacks, please simply change the quantity button to the number you would like to purchase ~  Wonderful to have found matching sacks~! ) ~ Lovely heavy weight ~  ( sack 209)

      • The linen is home grown, home retted and hand woven. These sacks are 100% machine washable! I wash them on a regular warm cycle and then hang to dry ( however you can tumble dry too!). If there is dirt present simply add Oxyclean or similar~I like to add a fabric conditioner to the final rinse like Downy Ultra for added softness~*~  hemp was built to last, and last .....and last...the more you use it the more wonderful it becomes~ most times there isn't even a need for ironing after wash~ perfect for easy lifestlyes~*~
