Vintage CIRO-FLEX "ALPHAX" Twin-Lens Reflex Camera and Leather Case

Takes Medium-Format 120 size Roll film

Wollensak 85mm, f/3.5 Velostigmat Lens and Alphax Shutter Made in Rochester, NY

***Camera looks real clean, everything seems to work.  I am not an expert, camera has not been tested and is offered primarily as a collectible item.  I cannot guarantee that it will actually take pictures.  The glass in both lenses appears clean and there are no cracks or chips.  The ground glass viewing screen is definitely dirty or spotted and needs cleaning.  The pop-up viewfinder cover works perfectly.  The shutter fires and by me ear, it seems to change to the correct speeds, also T and B work as they should.  I'm not sure how the focusing works, the knob turns but I can't tell if it's working properly.  The back opens easily and camera interior is nice and clean.  There is still a roll of film in the camera.  The leatherette covering of the metal body is intact with no rips or tears or other deterioration.  The black painted metal parts are chip-free and no rust.  The unfinished metal parts are all clean and shiny with no rust.  The leather case has rips in front and side panels and is missing the neck strap. 

Wonderful shelf item for the collector of vintage cameras or a nice restoration project  for an experienced technician.  "AS IS"
