Such a stunning vintage hat! Very Mad Men style.
Cream velour hat from the 1960s. Authentic vintage item. This is a slightly larger classic pillbox style with a delicate feather border and looks gorgeous when worn at the top back of the head or on a slight angle. Feathers are black and cream with iridescent peacock colors (turquoise, a bit of purple)--very delicate. Very light hat to wear--perfect for fall, winter, early spring. Buckram frame covered with cream velour. No labels or tags inside. In great condition--feathers are all intact, no smudges or stains on velour, only a tiny bit of matting at the very center top--perhaps from insertion of a hat pin or from a veil that used to be attached (check the photo). Not noticeable when the hat is on. Comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Message me with any questions before bidding, please!
