Vintage 1960 Blonde Ponytail BARBIE #3 in Box w/ Stand, Swimsuit, etc.

From an estate, here is a vintage 1960 #3 Ponytail Barbie.

Her face is outstanding with beautiful coloring & original paint. Her brows are tan, her eyeshadow is brown, her lips are crimson red, her cheeks are just slightly blushed. She has been stored in her box and has not faded or turned yellow. No touch-up or repaint.

She has golden-blonde hair, soft, shiny & full without trims or missing pieces. It is worn in a re-tied ponytail. Her curly bangs are also nice. Her scalp is flocked.

She has one earring hole in each ear. There are no earrings, and also no green ear.

Her body is excellent. It is the correct 'Barbie' body with the heavy crayon smell. It is heavy & sturdy with tight limbs. Her crimson nail polish is approx 75% intact. Her body also has nice creamy coloring, again without fading or color changes. No bites, pricks or other problems. Just a few minimal rubs or tiny scratches.

Barbie wears her original black & white knit swimsuit. She comes with a black metal stand & 1961 Barbie & Ken booklet. These are all excellent.

She was found in an original Barbie Box. This box is a little later than the doll, and is in fair condition with some light wear. There is a split in two corners of the box, and one end of the lid is no longer attached, but included. There is also an original box liner which is in nice shape. NOTE: Since listing this item, I have found the original lid for the #3 doll in the estate collection. The top & sides are in fairly good condition, with both end panels missing. Both lids will be included. There should be enough parts to reconstruct either lid if desired (will add a photo).

This is a gorgeous, highly collectible Barbie in really wonderful condition!
