Vintage 1950's 50s PINK White Floral CHIFFON Organza Party Prom Wedding DRESS

An absolutely gorgeous 1950’s party dress in an exquisite floral print chiffon organza. The style typifies the 50’s - oh so feminine and figure flattering - perfect to accentuate a shapely figure. There are two layers to the skirt – an ivory satin acetate lining, topped with a floating overlayer of white chiffon decorated in an exquisite pink floral print. The print is stunning – it resembles hand painting. Maker’s label reads “Junior Theme – New York”.

Note the special details on this lovely dress – sexy plunging cross over neckline, fabulous twirling full skirt and especially the vibrant floral print. Note the dress is photographed using a crinoline to show the skirt to full advantage – the crinoline is not included.

The dress closes down the rear with a hidden metal zipper. The entire dress is lined in ivory satin acetate.

Vintage size label indicates size 13, but please see measurements below for proper fit. This is definitely not a modern size 13 ; it is a small to medium size which would best fit a modern size 6 or 8.

Condition

This dress is in excellent vintage condition. No stains on the chiffon and underarms are clean. The white chiffon is still beautifully white and clean, with no discoloration. I found a few of the small snags and picks typical of chiffon dresses of this vintage and a few tiny breaks in the outer chiffon above the skirt hemline. Given the print and the volume of fabric, these are inconspicuous. No significant defects to note.

Returns

All items are sold as final sales, unless a significant flaw has inadvertently not been disclosed. I do my best to accurately describe every item and any significant flaws will be mentioned in the description. Of course it is possible to overlook something and if this occurs, please contact me as soon as possible and I will do my best to resolve the issue. I cannot accept returns for items that do not fit – measurements are taken carefully so please ensure that these match your own before bidding.

Please keep in mind that vintage items are not new, and as such are rarely in perfect condition. Unless otherwise stated, all items have been worn and show some degree of wear. Small imperfections are inherent in vintage garments and add character to the pieces.

Shipping

Unless otherwise requested, all Canadian and US shipments will be shipped expedited parcel via Canada Post, with tracking and insurance.  I do not charge handling fees so all prices reflect actual mailing costs.

International buyers are welcome. International shipments will be priced on an individual basis and generally will be higher. If you would like an international shipping quote before purchasing, please send me an email. Insurance is recommended on international shipments, as I cannot be responsible for loss or damaged parcels if insurance is not purchased.

I will combine shipping for your convenience to reduce postage costs.
