Over the past few years, my husband and I have been selling the inventory of a music shop which was in business from 1948 through 1980. The inventory has been stored securely for the past 30 yrs. Among the many unique inventory items in storage, we found a collection of old bridge pins for guitar, all diligently organized by sets and each packet diligently labeled. We have no way to verify these labels so please do not rely on this but we will include the labeling information in our listing description. The obvious reason for having a complete set of nicely aged vintage guitar bridge pins is that they look great on an old guitar and complement the appearance of an old guitar, many of which have either newer (ugly white!) bridge pins or a mismatched old set! Here's your chance to pick up a matched old set with appropriately aged yellowed patina. We do not have the proper tool to accurately measure the diameter & size of these pins so please don't ask. That said, we have included a picture of both sides of these bridge pins so you can assess them for yourself.

Here then is a complete matched set of six old bridge pins in a package labeled "1940's Gibson J-45 acoustic guitar". However, it stands to reason that these old black celluloid bridge pins would also nicely complement several other vintage Gibson guitars from the 1950's & 1960's which had distinctive black bridge pins as well as some old Martin acoustic guitars which were outfitted with black bridge pins?

ALL SHIPMENTS ARE F.O.B. ORIGIN AND SUBJECT TO CARRIER'S INSURANCE LIMITS AND EXCLUSIONS.

International bidders, except Canada (see shipping cost under shipping details), MUST contact us & request a shipping quote before bidding. That way we can also explain any shipping and insurance limitations imposed by shipper. Please also note the following self-evident terms apparently required by eBay to be posted on all listings:

  • Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility and are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
  • Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

ABOUT US - We are NOT experts in the items being auctioned. We are in fact a retired professional married couple with enough free time to now sell items we have had in storage for several decades and to promptly, and always politely, respond to your inquiries which we welcome. Whenever possible, we have included extra pictures with each listing so that the bidder has an opportunity to examine as many pictures as possible. However, we reserve the right to remain human! This means that we can make a mistake at times in describing an item and opinions do differ. If this happens, please contact us to address the issue before bidding as we are selling these items AS IS and not on an approval basis.
