Here's a marvelous and playful lot of 26 vintage pieces, a wonderful lot of “as is” vintage gems great for play, party, costume and photographs. Most have a flaw, here or there. Some more so, some less so. Flaws may include discolorations, missing buttons, a tiny hole, etc. There are 2 1940's dresses, 2 1950's blouses, 6 1950's dresses, 1950's/1960's leopard coat, 1950's/1960's embroidered white dress, 1960's/1970's two piece wrap blouse with detachable belt and pants, 9 circa 1960's/1970's dresses, 1 1980's dress and 2 fab 1990's going on 2000 dresses (the silver leather flapper look gem and the asymmetrical rainbow linen wiggle.) A wonderful “as is” lot. Sure to contain some new wardrobe favorites, some with a little tlc or whimsical applique, and some just as is after an initial launder. Labels include: Jean Muir, Miss K a division of Alfred Shaheen, Frank Usher London, Ruth Clarage, Posh by Jay Anderson and Saks Fifth Avenue Shannon Rogers for Jerry Silverman. *Vintage clothing is worn/pre-loved and has sometimes been in storage for a number of years or around the block, a launder/cleaning before wearing is always recommended. I clean some items, but ultimate launder or dry clean, before wearing, is the buyer’s responsibility. Vintage clothing has often had a long and varied life that I am not privy to. (Ahhhh, the stories some of those dresses could tell…wouldn’t that be great if they came with a little recording in the pocket of where they’ve been and what they’ve seen.) I digress, that being said, vintage clothing should be cleaned before wearing, items are sold estate fresh/as is. *I will describe any flaws that I notice. All vintage clothing is bound to have a trivial flaw here or there. Most of the pieces I list are between 25 and 60 years old and will have normal wear indicative of their age. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding. We, being, me, myself and I, mention anything obvious that we notice and TRY our “BEST-US.” I may miss something super minor that does not effect the overall look of the piece in any way. *Colors may vary from computer monitor to computer monitor and digital cameras sometimes pick up colors differently depending on color and lighting, so if you have specific questions about color, please ask. *We, want YOU to enjoy the unique and lovely pieces, that we carefully hand select, and have a MARVELOUS TIME IN THEM.
