I am very pleased to offer for sale this gorgeous Victorian Renaissance Walnut and Burl Walnut Marble Top Dressing Table Mirrored Vanity circa 1870's. This spectacular piece offers fine craftsmanship as well high style and design. This dressing vanity measures a total height of 104 inches ( 8ft 8 inches) inches from the floor to the top of the magnificent carved pediment on the mirror top,a total width of 68 1/2 (5 ft 9 in) inches, a total depth of 21 inches, height from the floor to the marble tops on the sides measure 30 inches,and this piece weighs approximately 235 lbs. The original mirror measures 71 inches in height by 21 inches wide and does show some cloudiness and streaking appropriate for its age. The original white striated beveled marble tops on each side are free from chips or cracks and each measure 19 1/2 inches by 22 inches. The tall, stately dressing mirror rises above the marble top side cabinets that each offer storage possibilities with four storage drawers on each side with beautiful original carved walnut pulls (one pull on the left top drawer has a piece missing..see close up picture). This is an exquisiste Victorian Walnut Dressing Table Vanity circa 1870 that offers elegance and style and is in wonderful antique condition and is ready to take it place in your home.
