This item is a leaf from a medieval manuscript Breviary; Italy (Dioceses of Lodi); 15th Century, in Latin and on Vellium (approx. 4.5 x 3.5 inch). There are 25 lines of single column gothic text in brown ink with four double-line initials, "S", "R", "F" and "S" in blue and red ink and two minor initial "e" and "e" in alternating red and blue ink. Many lines have rubricating. On the reverse side there are 25 lines of single column gothic text in brown ink with one six-line initial "I" in blue ink. Condition of this leaf is fine. The leaf is matted and outside of mat is approx. 8 x10 inches.
