I would like to start out by saying this is one of the most beautiful watches in existence. The 1680 reds are by far my favourite Rolex. This ad is for a 1680 sub - 100% all original Rolex. No replica parts, no after market parts, no franken watch here. So up for sale is my 1680 red that is a complete set. Yes, you read correctly. This comes with everything it came from the AD 40 years ago, even the original hangtags! This watch is in TZ graded excellent meaning fantastic for a vintage watch. The original bill of sale even comes with the watch. The watch has a "true" fat font insert with clear/cracked tritium pearl. The dial and hands are matching in light cream color which are original. 3.7M serial dates to 73 with a Mark VI dial (correct and original to the watch). No chips or non-sense with the dial or hands. Case is in excellent condition with serial still visible and matching the hang tag and papers. Watch comes on a newer 93150 w/ 580 with the slightest play in it (NOS purchased about 1 month ago) and comes with all links as original (extra links in the box and not pictured). Watch has been fully serviced last month (not polished). The watch however has been previously polished over the years. The lugs are strong and integrity is 100% but it is not an unpolished case (full disclosure). Please see pics for further reference. This is one of the nicest 1680 red's you will find, period. I am only giving it up to fund a true grail or else I'd keep it as I know I'll never find another set like this.
